Scientific and quantitative consulting

I help researchers, nonprofits, and organizations turn good questions into sound studies and clear answers. Since 2015 I have consulted independently on research design, measurement, and statistical analysis alongside my academic work. Clients get a PhD-trained personality and social psychologist with a graduate minor in psychological statistics and methods and more than 15 years of hands-on data analysis.

Projects range from a single analysis to ongoing support across a study's life. I work in English, remotely and in person.

What I can help with

Study design

Research questions and hypotheses, experimental, survey, longitudinal, and experience sampling designs, sampling plans, power analysis, and preregistration.

Measurement and psychometrics

Construct clarification, questionnaire and scale development, item analysis including exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis and item response theory, reliability, and advanced construct validation.

Statistical analysis

Regression and generalized linear models, (M)ANOVA, multilevel and longitudinal models, structural equation modeling, and machine learning.

Reporting and evaluation

Clear visualizations and plain-language reports, program evaluation, and survey-based insights for campaigns and decision making.

Scientific writing

Methods and results sections, responses to reviewers, grant methods, and native-speaker editing of English-language manuscripts.

Training and tutoring

One-on-one tutoring and workshops in statistics, psychometrics, R, and research methods for students and research teams, including acting as a secondary advisor for dissertations.
